Glenn taught himself to sail in the sailing dingy of his parents' 30' Anglemen ketch in San Diego Bay when he was six. He advanced through Naples Sabot, Lido 14 and Hobbie Cat 16.' in Newport Harbor. He skippered his parents' 40' Creger Catamaran to Mexico at the age of 15. He crewed two seasons on ocean races around the Channel Islands and chartered catamarans in the BVI. He and his wife Kathi have owned various sail boats including a Passage 42 and Island Packet 320 for 35 years and currently own Serenity, a Lagoon 320.
