Getting out on the water is one of the best reasons to belong to a yacht club. We offer many fun events throughout the year for members to be on the water with old and new friends. Most of these events are open to members without a boat.
Duffy and Dingy Fleet. This is open to all small boats, like electric boats, dinghies, and whalers. Planned events are inside the harbor. Activities include poker runs, boat parades in the harbor, and holiday light cruises through the Naples canals. Our members can sign up for rides on these events at no cost.
Day Cruises. As the name implies, these are short cruises that last 2-3 hours on a Sunday afternoon. Skippers volunteer their boats to take out crew members that sign up for the cruise. Crew bring snacks and their own drinks. We will have power, sail, and duffy options. Here is an opportunity to get out on another type of boat. After the cruise everyone is invited to the Grill-Your-Own to continue the fun.
Progressive Dinner. This is a dinner on four different boats, appetizer, salad/soup, entrée, and desert. The boats will be close enough for members to get to by walking or dingy. Hosts provide the food and guest provide their own drinks.
Here is a calendar of Water Activities Events. For more information on these events or to join the fleet, please contact Fleet Captain, John Schroeder at firstname.lastname@example.org or (408) 898-7119
